I thought not having a printer was bad (try no computer)...

My computer is broken; it has been for over a week
I think the mother boards fucked, its answers that I seek.
My hope is that I’ll just turn it on and all will be well, no chance it seems
Why can’t I just twiddle this and that and fix it by fluke? Eye right, in my feckin’ dreams.


I can’t listen to all my music or watch videos’
I’ve become dependent on this box of wires, it really goes to show.
I’m paralysed without it, but cannot put it right.
It might not be the motherboard but the memory that’s shite.


When I switch it on it teases me with the illusion all’s ok
But it fucks up on the windows loading screen that just won’t go away
Sometimes it don’t get that far and the screen goes blue instead
It indicates a memory error and leaves me to scratch my head.

Why now when I’ve got no money and so much work to do
Does that box of wires and circuitry have a screen that just turns blue?
No online games or instant access to the web if and when I choose.
Leaves me frustrated not unlike that screen it seems I’ve got the blues.


So value your box of wires and hope it never breaks
‘cause if it does and you don’t have parts you’ll end up in a state.
At this time all I can do is wait or get down on my knees
And beg my mate who built me it, to come and fix it please.
