Tribute to David Ervine

Today Northern Ireland buried David Ervine, a man who has made this place better for all of us and hopefully generations to come.

It was heart warming to see Gerry Adams attend his funeral, a gesture that demonstrates how far we (as a population) have come.

It is a shame that the significance of David Ervine's legacy is demonstrated so emphatically at a time we morn his passing, but it is a fitting tribute a man that has indisputably made Northern Ireland a better place for all of its inhabitants.

David Ervine, Rest In Peace.

even though as a loyalist i felt pity for his family of hearing of this man death i felt even sadder for my people when adams walked through east belfast for davids memory, i couldnt belive to see the mighty uvf look on as the butcher adams skipped through with understanding and a sense of grief
for my community, wot a load of shite ,adams should have been pulled too bits ,funny thing the only people brave to say anything that day were afew cries of resistance from the women of east belfast who the uvf kept back
